Today you’re wearing orange.
You don’t wear the colour often,
and I’m surprised that it looks good.
But, I didn’t buy you that outfit.
I buy all of your outfits.
Or, I did,
until I didn’t,
because you left, didn’t you?
First you wore black,
then red — just on your hands.
And now, orange.
It’s a nice colour. Your skin is paler
and it suits you.
I smirk, because, I don’t have to wear orange.
It doesn’t look good on me.
But, on you, it looks perfect.
